As per the question, the dose proportional and pseudo-dose are based on API and placebo ratio
Dose proportional is directly proportionality for API and placebo, that is increase in API strenght increases the placebo quantity however their ratio remain same.
If 5mg strength has 15 mg placebo, then 10mg strength has 30mg placebo
For pseudo dose, the above condition, if the strength increases to 10mg, the placebo will be adjusted to 20mg, that says the total formulation remains 30mg.
Look-alike is different kind, irrespective to dosage or drug, the labelling, design, remains same.
The two different kind of medication will have same packing and colour or shape, size however those were both used for different purposes.
Physical appearances is same, mainly used as a marketing strategy for brand and generic versions.
