Now, the light will diverse from the incident light from the terms of its angle, the diversified and obtained light is called as a diffraction and the recording of the diffracted light is measured in defined terms. The recorded light is called diffractogram.

Now, the chromatogram is the result that shows the separation of compounds.
In simple terms us to understand, the diffraction is the angle of bending of the light and the chromatogram is the qualitative and qualitative measure of separation of compounds.
