Purity and potency
Can anyone explain me the difference between purity and potency

I would like to explain in terms of chromatography
Purity is the minus of impurities (known and unknown)from sum of all peaks
Where as potency is further minus of Loss on Drying, water content, sulphated ash, Residual solvents along with minus of impurities
