HPLC and UPLC both work with samee principle and are Liquid chromatography.
Although, UPLC has some advantages over HPLC based on analysis time and withstand of pressure
We could say that UPLC is upgraded version of HPLC
UPLC gives results in
Lesser time,
Uses short columns,
Withstand high pressure compared to HPLC.
